Green Meadows is a family-owned and operated 18-hole public golf course that has been providing golfing services since May 1973. Located at 1555 Strasburg Rd, Monroe, MI 48161, United States in southeast Michigan, just four miles west of Monroe, in Monroe County, it offers public play as well as memberships, league play, outings for fundraisers or special events, and a banquet room for small parties throughout the year. The course features a well-maintained layout that is challenging yet fair, with two creeks running through both the front and back nine. History of Green Meadows Golf Club
Green Meadows Golf Course opened during Memorial weekend in 1973, thanks to Marion “Spitz” Eipperle and his wife Helen’s relentless determination to turn part of their farm into a golf course. By the fall of 1972, the course had already taken shape, having been designed by Harley Hodges, a friend who built, owned, and operated Whiteford Valley Golf Course. Green Meadows experienced a meteoric rise attracting leagues, outings, members, and high school teams throughout the ’70s and ’80s, which saw the addition of a new clubhouse and parking lot.
Over the last 45+ years, Green Meadows has established itself as the home of both Ida High and Monroe High boy’s golf teams, and this success can be attributed to the Eipperle family’s hard work and dedication.

The bar offers an assortment of beer, wine, liquor, and soda. We also offer Michigan craft beers and ales on tap to sip while watching your favorite sports game on TV. The blend of this dining area and bar make a great 19th hole at Green Meadows.
