South Rockwood, Michigan

South Rockwood is a village in Monroe County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,587 at the 2020 census. The village is located within Berlin Charter Township. It is home to people of various ages and backgrounds, and is a modest, low-key community. It is generally considered a safe neighborhood with a low crime rate. The Huron River forms the northern boundary of the village and county line with the city of Rockwood in Wayne County.
